Anthony Mostrom is a Los Angeles-based artist, illustrator and journalist who has written for the Los Angeles TimesL.A. WeeklyMalibu Magazine, and PleaseKillMe.com.

His illustrations and comic strips have appeared in Heavy Metal magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the L.A. Weekly, Nickelodeon magazine, 78 Quarterly and Tower Pulse! Magazine and many other publications.

He has exhibited at Roberts Tilton Gallery, Los Angeles, The Delta Blues Museum in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and the Forest Lawn Museum. His music cd-packaging work has adorned releases by Derek Bailey, Bob Dylan, The Eels, Henry Kaiser, Blues legend Charley Patton, and many other jazz and rock musicians.

In 2012, Mostrom was tapped to create over 300 portrait illustrations for a massive (2-time Grammy-winning) project: Jack White’s Third Man / Revenant Records’ monumental 2-volume opus, “The Rise & Fall of Paramount Records.” Both volumes won Grammy awards for ‘Best Historical Box Set’ and for art direction. In 2015, the Delta Blues Museum of Clarksdale, Mississippi mounted the exhibition, “Anthony Mostrom: Paramount Portraits – Drawings from the Rise & Fall of Paramount Records, vol. 1 & 2.”
